Diocese Of Broken Bay Enterprise Agreement

This lump sum wage increase, which has been in arre with the expiry of the previous enterprise agreement at the end of last year, is a central demand of the ongoing negotiations on the union`s enterprise agreements. Joint Support Staff Working GroupFor support staff, the union and the CCER will form a joint working group that includes representation of members. The working group will endeavour to reach agreement on the application of wage increases paid to assist staff in public schools. We agreed that the current enterprise agreement would be submitted to them for approval, with agreed amendments: the dioceses had previously stated that wage increases would only be paid after a successful „yes“ vote on the new contract on systemic Catholic schools, which is not expected to take place until September. Staff of the Diocese of Broken Bay are subject to the following conventions: The minimum fee on our schools is described in the Catholic Education SA Enterprise Agreement 2017. Enterprise agreements are enterprise-level agreements between employers and workers on the terms of employment policy. As you know, our respective negotiating teams have been working for almost two years on an agreement on a number of work-related issues. Despite good faith, vigorous discussions and hard work, we have not been able to find an amicable solution on some issues. Together, we still have a long way to go to draft the revised document, make it available for review and then resume the voting process. Click here to visit the Landincentives Program page.

We also agreed that the Enterprise Agreement, approved by the Fair Labour Commission, would enter into force for a period of three years from the date of approval by the Fair Labour Commission, if the vote and enterprise agreement were successful. We plan to resume negotiations on the next enterprise agreement in 2019. We write to you on behalf of the 16 Catholic school employers and the Independent Union of Education (SA) Institution.
